Features: The 2026 Kia Seltos brings in a completely refreshed set of features along with a fully revamped cabin layout inspired by Kia’s newer models like the EV6. It gets a dual 12.3-inch connected screen setup for the infotainment and instrument cluster, 64-colour ambient lighting, an 8-speaker BOSE sound system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charging pad, and physical AC controls for easier usability. Comfort and convenience are well covered with a panoramic sunroof, 10-way electrically adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, ventilated front seats, LED headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, rear sunblinds, an engine start/stop button, and powered auto-fold ORVMs. Safety kit includes 6 airbags, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, all-wheel disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, a 360-degree camera with front and rear sensors, and a full Level-2 ADAS suite, making the new Seltos one of the most feature-loaded and safety-rich SUVs in the segment.

Engine: The 2026 Kia Seltos continues with three familiar engine choices, each catering to different types of buyers. The lineup starts with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine making 115 PS and 144 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic. For those who want stronger performance, the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit delivers 160 PS and 253 Nm, and comes with either a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT. Diesel lovers can opt for the 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 116 PS and 250 Nm, available with both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

Rivals: The 2026 Kia Seltos steps into one of the toughest SUV segments in India, going up against key rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Maruti Victoris, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Honda Elevate and the MG Astor. It will also face strong competition from the Tata Sierra and Tata Curvv, along with the German siblings, the Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun. Looking ahead, the upcoming 2026 Renault Duster and its Nissan counterpart, the Tekton, are expected to further intensify the competition.
